On Saturday March 4, 2023, the 14th Annual Kualoa/Hakipu‘u Canoe Festival took place at the Kualoa Regional Park. Looking at the bay, a beautiful view of sailors with their canoes, and patiently waiting for Hōkūleʻa grand entrance in the shallow lagoon waters…

First Sunrise of 2021

Early morning drive to the east coast, pouring rain and windy along the way! I can’t recall the last time I woke up that early, but it was worth getting the first sunrise of 2021 :D

First time shooting at the Makai Pier, met up with 2 friends and it was great time to catch up during this Pandemic. Now that 2020 is behind, Happy New Year 2021 and best wishes!

Sunrise was about 7am, so we were there on location around 530am.

Long exposure, over 2 min, 6 stop ND, and 3 stop GND filters.

Pipeline on the weekend

Last Sunday, we stopped by Pipeline North Shore and settled for a few hours on the beach to watch the surfers sliding on the waves. It was sunny and hot!
