Last ones of the season...

New moon was last week and got a chance to go out with some friends to capture the Milky way last Friday.

Only started this year to get interested in Astrophotography, and really enjoyed it. Especially during this pandemic world, and working remotely from home since the beginning of the year, it was a good stress relief to go out and shoot.

After sunset, started to dial in the camera configuration for night photography… using the NISI natural night filter to clear some light pollution…

Hawaiian Milky way over the weekend

After a nice sunset on the North shore last weekend, we stayed after the blue hour to catch the milky way, probably the last time for the season.

It was not too cloudy and was able to get some shots.

Clear sky

Last night, with a group of friends, we went back to North shore in order to catch a last glimpse of Neowise.

It was a nice evening, greeted by a beautiful sunset, moon settling down on the horizon and Neowise passing by…

Setting up the telephoto for a close up view of the comet.

Watching the moon…

A last min view of Neowise, c ya!

Mahalo!
